This painting reflects how you just simply can’t white wash any form of trauma. You can bury it deep inside but it never goes away, it will keep showing up in your life and nothing will ever change. This painting shows textures of black which convey trauma connected by black paint lines which represent trauma bonds. Overlaid on top of the trauma is a white wash. In order to change and transform, we have to do the work and heal otherwise nothing will ever change.
